Course Description
Not a testing track but not one for long striding gallopers. Stamina is required to make the final run in which extends for 500 yards uphill. This is another course where horses with previous course form do well.
Analysis
It's Fashions Monty given that the other runners are inconsistent and are unsuited to ground conditions (soft). Fashions Monty has all the correct ticks and is a previous course and distance winner. At projected SP of 11/8 I won’t be lumping on…

Just an ordinary handicap chase, and they finished well strung out. FASHIONS MONTY(1), who had scored in a conditional riders' event over 2m4f at Hexham last Friday, is just as at home over an extreme distance like this. Off the same mark here, she raced up with the pace and drew away from the second last to score in good style. She's in good form but this flatters her a little as the second was eased right up in the final 100 yards.
