Bath Racecourse (14 Aug 2005)

Course Description
A left handed, galloping, undulating, oval track with quite a steep uphill finish. Due to the demanding, even bizarre configuration of Bath, adaptable galloping types and jockeys that have been conspicuously successful on this course should receive close scrutiny.

Analysis
Can’t wait to get to Bath as its been a long time since I visited a racecourse, but due to time constraints, I will only list the short listed horses

4.00 Saltwell Signs Handicap Stakes Fillies & Mares (5 ) 1m5y

A complete disaster as I let my excitement of going to the races for the first time in ages get the better of cold hard logic. It should have been a small stakes day instead I commanded a full on assault on the on course bookmakers (“ere … here comes that mug punter again”) the casualty, ¼ of my betting bank!!

There is no point in reviewing the racing as the form of the winners will not stand up to serious competition. Bath will be added to the list of no play race courses.
