Spirit of Coniston has a wide draw to contend with however early pace figures brings him into contention in a mostly pace-less field. Well drawn Mystery Pips came 4th in a fast time 1lb out of the handicap. Drawn next to her, top rated He´s A Rocket presents a tantalising each-way chance if in the mood.

If there is serious money for Millfield this is a race to pass as he is noted as having the ability of defying a 2lb rise in weight after his win 16 days ago. If lukewarm in the market oppose with Sovereignty who is on winning BHB mark and loves Wolverhampton and/or Casablanca Minx who has preference for 8 furlongs but best of the rest in my book.
