Just an average maiden and a good winner in PINPOINT, who, having shown promise in his two outings last month, appeared to step up on that form here by going clear inside the last.
Poker Player, who showed promise last year but was disapointing on his Polytrack reappearance, ran a respectable race to finish a clear second-best.
Swains Bridge seemed to benefit from his debut and Rowan Warning made late headway to claim fourth, beaten a respectable distance.
Dakota Rain, a well-bred colt, faded when pressure was applied, as did Denounce, who travelled strongly behind the leaders but went out like a light when let down.
