The Racing Posts spotlight writer has summed up perfectly. Up in class Smiddy Hill and in foal Aahgowangowan will battle it out from the early lead. If the 350-mile trip has not adversely affected Bold Minstrel then he should run on in the later stages of the race to win given the late pace track bias at this distance. I'll throw some points at Smiddy Hill just in case he wins the speed dual up front or the jocky allows Aahgowangowan a soft lead.
