A typical A/W contentious race with 8lbs separating top/bottom weight. Close attention should be paid to the SP’s before the off to determine those on the shortlist that are drifting wildly on the exchanges.

Make My Dream’s 0/9/25 win/place/run record is truly shocking however early pace, good draw and poor alternatives (the rest of the field) ensure a place on the shortlist.

Another early pace runner Norcroft returns to favoured surface but is noted as having the ability but not inclined to use it.

Siraj is your typical “horse for course” 3/0/7 win/place/run record (43%) at Kempton; enough said but his chances are a bit too obvious for my liking.

Nautical takes a drop in class from his last race, but the key to his chances lie on the fact that he returns to polytack for the first time since coming second behind Norcroft off a BHB mark of 70. Rated 59 today after a 5lb drop by the handicapper a big run is expected
