As my chosen stable is now in form, it is now time to pin my colours to the mast. The selection is based on the fact that Saeed bin Suroor has entered Moktabes in races at Ripon Lingfield and Newmarket on the 24th and 25th May. He has decided to race at the Ripon meeting signalling that he feels this is the easiest opportunity for a maiden success.

Just an ordinary pace to this maiden in which the winner CELTICELLO did well, coming from well behind to get up in the final strides. He's an own brother to mudlark St Andrews, so conditions were clearly in his favour, and though the handicapper won't take any chances with him, he should progress when he has the ground in his favour.
Emerald Bay looks a ready-made winner as he was six lengths clear of the rest having made much of the running.
Mixing ran on well to be nearest at the finish, which means he will get a handicap mark, and as he's bred to stay at least a mile and a quarter, he will be well worth noting as considerable improvement is likely when he gets a stiffer test.
Holiday Camp raced up with the pace and wasn't knocked about when held. He's another now qualified for a handicap mark and could be interesting on fast ground as his three runs so far have all been on soft.
Kudbeme, third at York on her previous start, ran another sound race and can certainly pick up a small maiden in the north.
Without A Trace ran on well from off the pace and is another who is likely to be seen to better advantage over further when handicapped.
Spanky's Ladder will do better on faster ground, and though Bollin Ruth was never in it after missing the break, she's another now eligible for a handicap mark.
