Ayr (15 Sep 2005)

A trappy day to start Ayr’s 3 day meeting. I’ll keep my powder dry for some better races later in the week but here are some selections that I’ll be monitoring

3:40 7f 50yds - PDM mains to drains Handicap (Class 5) 3yo+

A tricky handicap. Under good to firm conditions, in 7F races of 8-13 runners, stalls 1-7 won 32 of 36 races 88%. Of those draw low analysis has determined that Sam’s Secret is well handicapped to reverse the form with Neon Blue who won their encounter last time out. As this is a low grade affair, we do need to note other dangers such as Bandos and Ballycroy Girl.

The “Fire and Forget” system has identified selections in the following races

4:10 1m 1f - totesport.com Handicap (for The Kilkerran Cup) (Class 2) 3yo+

Climate Change
Fine effort in last run to defy poor low draw, open to plenty more improvement after only 3 starts & will appreciate return to further, can follow up under a penalty

4:40 1m - Stewarts Turf Handicap (Class 5) 3yo

Cross the Line
Comes here in form, open to improvement. On form ratings his only opposition is Kabis Amigos who is exposed

3:40 Sam's Secret was a non-runner.

4:10 Climate Change was 2nd at odds of 6/5f. This was an unbackable price in a competitive handicap

4:40 Cross The Line was 2nd @ odds of 7/4
