Newbury - 2:25, 3:00 (21 Jan 200)

Course Description
This left handed course presents a fair test for jumpers and is 'galloping' in nature. However courage, stamina and jumping ability are required when the going is soft or heavy.

2:25 cantorspreadfair.com Handicap Chase (Class D)
Ulusaba (1pt): Course and distance winner last time out, top rated on speed and still unexposed around 3m and shapes as if there is more improvement to come

Trust Fund (1pt): In Form improving 7yo who won last time out. Should stay the distance base on point-to-point form

3:00 CiSTM Racing Club Handicap Chase (Class D)
Duchamp (1pt): 8L runner up behind a useful rival last time out, still well handicapped (5lbs than last winning mark) and should take all the beating today

Kosmos Bleu (1pt): high on speed ratings, should relish ground conditions and return to 2m2f will suit

Duchamp is a non runner so I will side with Gazump. He was pulled up last time out but that was in a competitive contest at Cheltenham. Top rated on handicap form, this will not be as hard today and fancied to return to form.
